Could you share some details on how you first met and the engagement?
We have been together for 4 and a half years and met on New Year’s Eve in 2017. We were friends until March 2019 when we officially got into a relationship. Adam proposed when our first child was 6 weeks old on the 15th September 2020. He dressed Charlotte in a baby vest and handed her to me, it was such a surprise.
What first attracted you to The Parkmore Hotel?
We were attracted to the Parkmore hotel as my Nan was married there 11 years ago, I was a flower girl and it is such a special place for our family. My aunt gets married there in August too, we can’t wait to see it again from a guest’s perspective.
We’d love to hear a bit about your décor choices, food, drinks, entertainment, etc.…
We had pink, pink and more pink decor. Lots of floral arrangements and it was truly magical. It was beyond perfect! We also asked for some music to be played during the wedding breakfast that was a lovely touch.
Do you have any wedding planning tips for future couples getting married at The Parkmore Hotel?
I would love to emphasise to future couples getting married at the Parkmore to trust the process, everything comes together beautifully in the end and remind them that nothing is a bother. I felt so bad constantly emailing changes but everything I wanted was not a problem and I’m so glad I enquired about things when I needed to. I could not recommend the hotel more, it was so nice to know that everything was taken care of and the recommendations from the hotel were fantastic. We found everything we needed under one roof and it was such a relaxed and calming environment on our day.
On behalf of myself, Adam and both of our families we would like to thank each and every member of staff that helped make our day special. It was truly magical and we will see you in August!
