What’s been happening?
Our Wedding Showcase took place a couple of weeks ago where we welcomed lots of newly engaged couples for tours of our function suites, thank you to everyone who visited! The Parkmore is a great location for your dream wedding, if you know anybody who is searching for their perfect venue – we would love to hear from them!
We had our first wedding of the year on the 28th January, along with lots of other birthday parties, anniversary get-togethers and baby showers!
Our Leisure Club saw an influx of members joining following our open day in January. Phil Holt won this month’s competition running the fastest 1.5km out of all the members – join us for February’s challenge to see who can row the fastest 500m!

Staff updates
On the first weekend in January, the whole team enjoyed their Christmas party after a hugely busy December full of party nights and festive lunches. Big congratulations to Eamon our Night Porter who won Employee of the Year for tirelessly setting up all our events to a high standard and keeping things in order throughout the hotel overnight. And to the Housekeeping Team who won Department of the Year for their consistency and hard work throughout the year, the team enjoyed a lunch at Uno’s last week to celebrate.
